Home button turns blue. There is no lag when playing on Xbox One or PC. It is easily recognized on PC and the vibrate function works for both. The controller is registered as "Controller" (Xbox One for Windows) for PC. It registers with 11 buttons, and they all work with the Z axis with back buttons. The buttons have a nice feel, and the way they click is spring-loaded on the front and triggers on the back. In terms of third party vs first party comparison, this plays very well! I did a stress test based on the week I've already had it. There's no shortage of button presses when it wears out so quickly. The controller is slightly wider than the first side and the buttons are slightly larger. This is a great controller and we recommend it for people who like to borrow and use a third party controller.
