Review on Premium Brown/Ash Finish Sierra Solid Wood End Table by OSP Designs - Office Star by Rich Fiedler

GOOD: Looks very nice - not like a custom made piece of oak but much better than a mass produced $66 composite table. BAD and DANGEROUS: I would miss moderate build issues, but attaching the top is next to impossible. The 4 cam bolts need to be screwed in to less than a millimeter of the correct height to work properly as friction is required to lock these cams: if the bolts are too low there is no friction, and if too high, you can not close the lock . It is not specified what the correct screw height is and if it is the same for all 4 screws. (You won't be able to screw them all the way in.) To make matters worse, the included camlocks are made of a soft alloy and the included hex key won't fit snugly. (Other camlocks have a harder head, and a simple Phillips screwdriver is often used for this head.) The bottom line is that you have to be VERY careful not to strip the threads when tightening the camlock. But since friction is required to lock these cams, it's hard not to rip your head off! I was able to grab the table at the top and move it 5 feet to its current location. Also, I don't trust my bottom line enough to raise this table back to the top and I plan to go back when time allows and insert my own biscuit joints or at least glue the top in some places where it makes contact the rest of the table. (There is a small gap between the bars and the top, about a millimeter.)
