Review on Ultimate Waterproof Protection: Heavy Duty Rain Poncho For Backpacking, Camping, Military And Emergencies For Men And Women by George Evans

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Lightweight & roomy. Noisy. I could not get the drawstring on the hood to work. I'm disappointed.

I wonder if I was shipped a different one by mistake? Mine did not come with a front pocket. I could not get the drawstrings on the hood to work, and the second I pulled a bit the plastic piece over the end knot came off the drawstring. It's noisy, so IDK how this would be good in a bug out situation, as when I walked in it you could hear my every move. However it is thick and oversized so I could see being sheltered from the rain in this, and I have room to carry a small backpack in a short term emergency. I don't want to be bothered with shipping it back and dealing with returns, so I'm going to leave it in my car in case I get stuck somewhere. I am disappointed.

Pros
  • Much need in this crazy Missouri weather working as a PARK RANGER in Tower Grove Park.
Cons
  • May cause overheating in warm weather conditions
