Review on River Dream PEVA Snap-in Shower Curtain Liner Replacement - Removable Liner with Magnets (1, Plastic) by Amanda Hill

The fabric isn't water repellent but the plastic is water repellent

I have two shower curtains with these snap on panels and the first had a thicker fabric panel that held the water in the shower well. Bath. The new one was thinner and leaked a lot of water. I mean the branded liners that came with the shower curtains here. I was hoping to find an aftermarket snap on fabric liner that was thicker and more water resistant than what I had before and found this product with good reviews. I bought the fabric version first. It looked and felt the same as my new liner and unfortunately let in just as much water as the one I replaced. Then I bought the plastic version and it worked great. I really don't see the point in fabric shower curtain liners that aren't waterproof. For me the sole purpose of the liner is to keep the water in the tub. If not, then it's a defect. In any case, I recommend the plastic version of this liner replacement. I would give 5 stars in all categories. But the fact that they sell a fabric version that isn't waterproof really worries me. I do not recommend the fabric option to anyone.
