Staying in ear was a problem

Upon receipt, I checked the case and made sure it was charged (four lights), the Earbuds were dead. Put the earbuds back in and make sure both are ready to charge. The case was dead the next day, as were the earbuds, so we used the included charging cable and took some time to properly seat the earbuds to accept a charge. After a few hours everything was charged and both earbuds synced without any problems. I used them until they dropped below 30% (according to my phone) and tried charging them in the case and again it was a struggle to get them properly seated to charge, although the battery life was clearly acceptable. The buttons on the headphones worked well and were located away from where you can put the earbuds in your ear. The audio was good but not great and the connection dropped about 40ft from the phone/tablet. The biggest problem was that the left earpiece didn't even hold in the ear for a moment, tried all three rubber attachments, but to no avail. The right ear cup in the middle would have stayed much longer but permanently planted it in my ear. No activities like walking the pup worked as he would drop out after 50/100 yards unless I reinserted the phone. I gave 2 consolation because one didn't fit and kept falling out and the other required me to keep pushing it in but when there was no discomfort in the ear. I've kept playing around with them and if I figure out what I'm doing wrong I'll update this post.
