This item was easy to install. Go to your local auto parts store and get an extra circuit/fuse. That's where I got the power from, then I used a self tapping screw and grounded it to the frame of the car under the side panel next to the fuse box. Much cleaner than a cigarette lighter power adapter! Great product, the phone also shows that it charges from the AC adapter! Output 1.2 amps. One note, the article says it will draw a maximum of 10 amps. My car's ACC fuse (accessory) is 15 amps. I was a little concerned that this fuse would blow, but so far it has happened.
