My head is smaller than the average adult and I usually fit kid sizes. I liked that it was an adult style but in a smaller size. This hat was perfect. When I opened it it looked small but because it was tied it stretched perfectly. It's definitely not the width of some similar hats, but I love how it keeps me warm. And my 7 year old daughter wants to borrow it too.
