I’ve had many carriers over the course of my 25 years of motherhood (WOW), and so I’ve had my fair share of varieties and styles, lower priced models and higher cost models, and truth be told, this one stands up against the big boys! The higher priced models vs. the inexpensive carriers. You could charge twice the price, and nobody, myself included, would bat an eye.A great thing with this is that, unlike many others, this will last until you are through with carrying your child. It’s one and DONE! It grows with them from just a newborn size until they are robust toddlers. The hip seat comes in as a very handy bonus as the weight of the child increases. It provides more stability, so there’s less strain on your back. For me, I think that is a common issue with carriers for those wearing them. their backs!Unfortunately, I do have injuries to my back, perhaps in part from carrying 5 babies, including twins, around for many years. Ive got a few degenerative discs in the lumbar region, so anything that pulls on me can be painful, but I must say, this is more comfortable than a traditional carrier with less support, without the hip seat, for those whose backs are less than perfect, yet still wish to carry their child in this way. Let’s just say, it’s the best you are going to do, that’s basically my key point here.The straps are pretty wide and comfortable. The product is very versatile. The price is AMAZING! I know they do say you get what you pay for, but in this instance I would have to rebut that and say that you get MORE than you paid for on this one!I’d like to see a couple different prints/ colors, but it’s a solid carrier that will stand the test of time! 5 stars!
