I was concerned when I opened the package and didn't see the instructions. However, looking at the details to understand what it was was easy. For example, a bar with no hole at the bottom and a bar with no hole at the top is the top. A pole with multiple holes at the top will mate with a pole without holes. WTC. And everything turns. When I encountered a problem, I lowered the pen and picked up the next part. When I started, everything was just great. I don't know if it can handle my thick winter coats. But it will work for me buying it for a scarf and sweater.
