Review on Autel MaxiCOM MK908 Scanner with $60 MV108: 2022 Upgrade of MaxiSys MS906BT MK906BT - Advanced ECU Coding, Full Bi-Directional Control & Active Test, All System Diagnosis & 36+ Services, FCA AutoAuth by Stephen Burgstaller

The tool works great but there is one problem (at least on my car - 07 Saab 9-7x. Whenever I scan my car it shows 15 to 150 P-codes Saab "Good, I checked with several scanners. I contacted Chris from Autel Technical Support. He informed me that all software download failed and recommended that I reset all settings and download everything again. He gave me his E -Mail address in case I run into any problems. Nothing has been fixed and Chris from autel tech support in New York is not responding to my emails. It has been over a month since Autel needs to be activated. There is a game in the Customer service if this is not fixed I will return it Update 10/17/19: Autel contacted me direct after I did my first initial review in September Vincent from Autel kept in touch with me all the time. He gave me updates on my problem as his engineers worked to fix the software error. Unfortunately, Vincent informed me that it could take 3 months or more for the engineers to fix the bug. As you can imagine I was a bit upset but Hotel/Vincent made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Keep using my scanner with a minor software issue (only works on 07 Saab 9-7x) until new software is released next summer. At this point they are sending me a brand new scanner with the latest software. I immediately agreed to his suggestion. It also saves me $700 from not having to pay for an upgrade next year. Upgrade from 2 to 4 stars. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is NYC's terrible tech support. Vincent promised me that the New York tech support team would be retrained and I believe him. If I need tech support again and have a pleasant experience, I will upgrade to 5 stars. UPDATE: 2/10/20 Today my scanner is not working anywhere. When it is on, it hangs on the autel maxisys screen. Autel technical support gave me a file that needs to be written to the SD card to perform a factory reset. Like a boot disk. That does not work. When I told them it wasn't working, they asked me to make a video that 1 shows the files loaded correctly from the SD card and 2 shows me inserting the card and showing them that it always still stuck on the loading screen. I've read on the Autel community forums that this happens to people. Some people even think that autel has been bothering them for not updating. According to autel, this is a novelty. I look forward to a letter from you for a solution. Even if he is not 6 months old, he should stop working one day. I will update the result
