These shoes are very pretty, and they do seem to be fairly easy to dance in. However, I have a very small foot that makes shopping in stores difficult (wear a 5, stores often begin at 6). These shoes were reviewed by others as running small, so I was hopeful they would fit me well. I ordered a 5, the smallest size available, but they are still too big. Rather than returning (need them for a wedding), I'm going to try to use the included inserts to make them fit. I have tons of room above my toes and at my heels, so we'll see.I do agree with other reviewers that some cushioning is needed under my toes. These shoes are hard as bricks.
