This body shaper works. For a garment that squishes and molds you into an ideal shape it is actually pretty comfortable. This body shaper is made from a lightweight, breathable fabric. The fabric it is made from make it perfect for its purpose. It is thin enough to comfortably wear under your clothes without getting overheated and to wear all day. With this body shaper you will need to wear your own bra. It does not come with a built in bra.The front of this body shaper has the clasps to close it. There are 6 rows of eyes to choose from giving you quite a bit of space to adjust how you like. The hooks and eyes are like the ones you typically find on a bra. These are easy to do, but somewhat hard to start. It takes some pulling and stretching to get everything situated. The front of this has some lace accents on each side of the closures. The straps and back are made from a breathable soft mesh-like fabric. It is not really pretty to look at, but it does the job. The back has a crisscross area where the fabric is multiple layers to provide good support and aide you in having better posture.I am 5’6.5” tall, 130 pounds and usually wear a medium or 6-8 in US sizes. I ordered a large. When I wear it I hook it in the third row of hooks. I wear this under anything and everything. It can be worn under dresses and with jeans or skirts. It is long enough that it goes down farther than some of my corsets. It is smooth and you don’t notice the lines from it under most things. I really like that it doesn’t squish my extra skin and fat out the bottom. It smooths everything and gives me an overall slimmer look. It also goes up farther under my arms than a bra so it smooths my excess there. It is much more comfortable and flexible than a corset. I ordered this in beige because it can go under any color and not show through. I love this thing.
