I received the Barbarians Tactical Drinking Kit yesterday. My initial thoughts on the package are good. The storage space is plentiful and enough for a day trip. The only initial downsides I see is the bubble. Although it did not leak during the leak test, you cannot disconnect the hydrator from the hose separately, otherwise the water will leak out of the reed. Blades and hose must be removed together. With most good cylinders, the cylinder can be removed without the hose connected. If I have to remove my hydration bladder for cleaning or filling, the tube has to go with me. Update: I liked the backpack after using it for a long time. Use it all the time. I've replaced the blades and hose with Camel and cleaning is no longer a problem. A few friends bought it too and they love it. I recommend this purchase.
