Very nice level for the price, a little slow to react

Very nice level for the price, a little slow to react.Seems accurate, not like I can notice 0.1 degree differences .It's a little slow to react, it might be using fluid inside or something like that to measure. Otherwise no problems or concerns with it.Comes with a battery so you can use it right away.Comes with small carry pouch.Magnetic base is very useful.I'd love an option to have 'absolute zero' instead of having to zero it out all the time on the counter, but alas.Overall, highly…

Pros
  • Super easy to use and helps make cuts exact. Best part was the price!
Cons
  • Never would read correctly, no customer support.....

This works just like it says

Got this for a 1960's Craftsman 10" table saw 113.29992 I just restored. I knew I could set the blade angle with a square, but I wanted to make sure I was accurate, and I plan on doing some projects that will require some odd and precise angels. This works just like it says. And I love the zero feature, as my garage floor is not close to even, so I can set zero to the table saw top, then put it on the blade and set my angle. It does take 1-2 secs for the readout to adjust and settle, but…

Pros
  • Seems to work well and like it should.
Cons
  • Requires batteries for operation, which can run out unexpectedly

Good product best in my review

What I like about GemRed is that they make their own product. You may notice that there are a lot of tools, particularly digital protractors, that are identical in appearance (button placement, etc), only they bear different company logos. GemRed appears to make their products ( and probably the products of other brands) and it

Pros
  • realigning the blade of the miter saw was easy works great
Cons
  • May need frequent calibration to maintain accuracy

Always powers up in absolute mode (digital level). Pushing the ZERO button makes it a relative angle gauge. I have tested this with the reversal test on a surface plate, on some machine tool beds with 123 blocks, and also on a homemade angle table through a range of 0 to 2.5 degrees. The reading from the base is generally self-consistent and repeatable to 0.1 degrees, but turning it on the left and right edges reads 89.9 one way and 89.8 the other, instead of 90.0 and turning the base from 0.0…

Pros
  • Can be used for various applications
Cons
  • Could be too complicated for people without advanced technical knowledge

Works very well . in my review

My table and miter saw blades were off a few degrees and now they are at a Perfect 90 degrees and making Perfect Cuts Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Affordable and budget-friendly
Cons
  • Could be too complicated to use without prior technical knowledge

Works well so far in my review

I can't speak to the absolute accuracy of this mini level, but it's great for setting up knife sharpening angles. That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Works great. Easy to use. Very accurate
Cons
  • Not 100% accurate as stated in the product details but does the job needed

Good readings best in my review

This is a handy little tool that I wish I had purchased a long time ago. Works great for a lot of uses and especially when you are sharpening knives.

Pros
  • This is a MUST for anyone with a table saw! It is easy to use and will help keep your cuts accurate.
Cons
  • The plastic casing may not be durable enough for heavy use

Definitely buy this tool, a must have

Perfect little tool. Not sure why waited so long to buy this. Definitely a must have tool. Dead on accurate as well and easy to use.

Pros
  • Saves time in manual measurements
Cons
  • The digital display may be prone to glare or reflections

Good quality. for my opinion

The only reason I didn't give this product a 5 star overall rating, was the packaging. The product did not have any foam in the package to protect the screen & mine had some scratches on it. Other than that it works great.

Pros
  • Battery included
Cons
  • Could be prone to errors or malfunctions

Measuring tools that measure

Both tools seem to perform as desired. No complaints here. Haven't used either one extensively, but don't anticipate any significant shift in my opinion going forward short of one of them dying prematurely. Definitely helps with the accuracy of cut on the table saw as opposed the trying to judge it off the scale on the saw.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Could be too expensive for users on a budget

Where has this been my whole life?

I had a friend help me with some wood working when he pulled out this little box that told him relative angles. My mind was blown! This one has been incredibly useful and I’m beyond happy I splurged on something that seemed frivolous.Overall the build quality is decent. It feels a little plasticy, but solid enough. It’s light and has a magnet on the bottom that’s decently powerful enough. I’ve accidently left it attached to the sheet metal of my Sprinter and drove a few hundred miles without it

Pros
  • Can be used by beginners with ease
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all brands or models of table saws

Works like a charm: my feedback

I had never used my table saw for a 45 degree angle cut and tried using a speed square but didn't want to ruin any of the cedar I purchased. I ordered the GemRed based on Internet and Revain reviews and I am satisfied it works great. On my first attempt I cut a piece of scrap and then verified the 45 degrees was spot on using my Kreg's KMA2900 Multi-Mark. At the prices of cedar being high, the last thing I wanted to do was ruin good wood. The GemRed is simple to operate and the screen is easy…

Pros
  • It works for me. I've only ever used it in the default mode. Seems accurate.
Cons
  • May have limited functionality compared to more fully-featured measuring tools

works well good for me

now i know how far off my miter saw is but how good of a cut i can get on the table saw. guess which tool will get replaced. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Widely used in woodworking, construction, machining, home decoration etc.
Cons
  • May be too expensive for occasional users compared to cheaper alternatives

A solid product let down by an under-powered magnet

This is an initial review of the GemRed 82418 Digital level.I wanted a digital level after being sold on the idea whilst watching youtube videos by "Bad Obsession Motorsport's videos of "Project Binky". I decided not to go with the cheapest one available, and settled on this one due to the quality of the reviews, as well as the IP67 water and dust proof rating. Initial impressions after having it less than a week are very good - it has exceeded my expectations, particularly in the…

Pros
  • Works well, made setting up the suspension angles on my Jeep easy.
Cons
  • May take up too much space to store

Really doesn't like angles close to 90.

Hard to determine the accuracy - when close to 90 degrees, it begins to jump by about ±0.5 degrees - fine enough for rough work, but that amount of error adds up. Hopefully that doesn't apply to smaller angles, like 45 degrees. Otherwise, it's easy to use and is fairly responsive, and the magnetism is nice.

Pros
  • Fast delivery, works well. Does the job on multiple tools.
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with tools other than table saws

No frills digital angle gauge

This accomplishes it's intended task. It sometimes reads 0.1 degrees off, but is close enough. The buttons don't seem very sturdy and feel like they will fail over time, but haven't yet.

Pros
  • Laying on your back AND trying to push buttons to get readings not easy. Directions STINK
Cons
  • Could be difficult to use with one hand
