My M50X is a couple of years old and needs a little refreshment so I bought a carry case to at least hide the faux leather that is now is quite worn after years of almost daily use at work and at home. Not exactly sure what could go wrong here, it's the zipper and the slightly stretchy material. I just wish there was a hook and zip at the end to secure it, but that's a bit of a hassle to help with the aesthetics. Please note: this changes a bit how the M50X fits and feels on your head, but I only had to adjust my usual strap length with a click on each side and I don't mind the difference, I would say it's a slightly firmer feel at the apex than at the drain.
