Decent grip is good for ear pads

Aside from the soldering iron and surgery to replace the headband which has the coating peeling off and falling apart, this is really the only solution I know of. If you can close your pants, you can install them. The lid is a little wrinkled on the underside due to the concave curve that follows it, but not too much to be uncomfortable. The main cause of discomfort with my M50s is the heat building up on my ears and the pressure of the closed rear cans. The product is as advertised and arrived

saves your (non) peelable AT-M50 headband

My AT-M50 detached the headband. I've started looking for a replacement but I really don't know if it can be replaced at all like the Beyerdynamic "PRO" series where the headband can be replaced as the plastic cover of metal buttons is held. I think I read it was a tight fit, but mine fit well (not tight) and didn't hurt to put on. I think it could be $3 cheaper - $10 is expensive for so little material and zipper - but so far so good. If you have an M50 with removable faux leather, this…

Little Bugger fits ear pads

I was concerned for a moment at the odd commingling of photos of two different headphones in the first picture, but decided to buy because "You can't break one like that make simple product, right? And I was right. It was a little difficult to set up first and then center properly (just my OCD) but it stays on and doesn't budge easily when I'm on my m50x. It feels like the headband has just been replaced as it looks like I have a new pillow on my head. Nice to know I can wash it in the future…

Protective and easy to use.

I've had a pair of ATH-M50's for several years but the headband came loose and wore out within the first few months of use. Inevitably I had to replace them, this time with ATH-M50xbt headphones, which are basically the same but wireless. I wanted to protect them from wear and tear beforehand, so I chose this one because it suited my needs. Putting them on was easy and they held up well with no fuss. At first I was concerned about the zipper and my hair, but again, no issues. I wish there was a

A good, cheap solution is best found in the headphone accessories

I got them because my 4 year old Audio Technica ATH-M40X headphones looked a bit worn. The headband came off but the headphones still work great so I didn't want to replace them just yet. This cap snaps closed (with little effort) and now that they're on the headband, they're protected. If I could turn back time, I would have received it sooner to protect him beforehand. My main complaint is that the zipper is tight and difficult to close and there is a pointy part on the edge where the zipper…

Looks and feels good on an old ATH-M50X

My M50X is a couple of years old and needs a little refreshment so I bought a carry case to at least hide the faux leather that is now is quite worn after years of almost daily use at work and at home. Not exactly sure what could go wrong here, it's the zipper and the slightly stretchy material. I just wish there was a hook and zip at the end to secure it, but that's a bit of a hassle to help with the aesthetics. Please note: this changes a bit how the M50X fits and feels on your head, but I…

A simple and effective solution at a great price!

It's been years since the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X became popular before anyone figured out how to fix the headband peeling problem. Here it is, and the price is right. I tried another brand of Revain but this one looked the best, mainly because the stitching is smaller and tighter making it look more professional than a homemade one. eyesore. And it adds extra padding. Installation isn't difficult once you get the hang of it. Stretch ensures a snug fit. All in all, this headband or protection…

New life for old torn headphones!

So a few years ago (2012) I received a couple of cans of Turtle Beach Ear Force Tango as a gift. The sound quality on them has always been pretty damn good. But, my God, they were absolute rubbish by just about every other conceivable measure. They were relatively overpriced, the battery life wasn't good enough for all-day gaming sessions, the 10 sound presets to cycle through were confusingly numbered and not just named as intended, the headband seemed for someone with a watermelon designed to
