Review on ๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ EIGIIS 2.4G Ergonomic Trackball Finger Handheld USB Wireless Mouse - Black Wireless Red TrackBall by Jemar Lorenzo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

BEAUTIFUL and that says it all.

Two years ago, I went through a strange phase buying silly mice. And I bought a few of them. Does it work as intended? YUP, period. Advantages: - big small size, nice to put in suitcase, luggage, handbag, anywhere. - Works as intended* - Decent 2.4GHz wireless dongle. Works as well as other 2.4Ghz devices I've used so a little short range, doesn't work as well in corners but I haven't found any device that uses this style of connection, works differently. VALUE, it's more the same. 15 feet line of sight. BUT if you have it plugged into your laptop like I did and use it as a sofa mouse to watch YouTube/Netflix/Videos on your hard drive, the metal cover on your laptop can affect reliability. Causes stuttering. Cons: - It's not ergonomic, maybe small hands will have better luck with it or maybe big hands, but in the natural position of this mouse I found my thumb very tiring. I like the idea of this, but when you have to go through a long list, like searching for something on a streaming site, it will hurt you after a while. I think part of the problem is that you can't throw it, which means you can't snap your thumb and momentum get the ball to keep spinning and scrolling for you. The ball is too light for that. This makes it ideal for EXACT controls rather than wide controls. - There's no place to keep the key on this thing. Oddly, there's a square notch with a sticker on it that might come in handy if there's a magnet behind it so you can attach the USB dongle to the device on the go. There is no way to store it in the battery compartment. WHAT stinks. Because if you have a lot of generic 2.4GHz dongle ds like me, you will find that this receiver looks identical to 90% of these generics. I colored mine with Sharpie Metallic Markers but still. annoying. Verdict: It's decent, but not great. More new than functional. I don't feel ripped off hence the average 3 out of 5 ratings. It's not feature rich enough for a 4, but it doesn't fail in anything it intends to do and claims no silly gimmicks other than ergonomics, which is a gimmick in itself.
