A recent patch on our phones decided they no longer worked with another brand of bluetooth headphones so it seemed like a good time to upgrade be. The NC9 plus hybrid has surprisingly good sound quality combined with noise cancellation. The case will also light up, showing not only that it's charging, but also the percentage remaining. If your earbud doesn't fit properly, or as I've found if you forget to remove the small plastic strap covering the charging port on the earbuds, the case will beep to let you know. Very practical to always know what you think you charge it, it works perfectly. I'd also like to see some foam offerings for the ear cups, but this pair had a wide range of waterproof tips to find a comfortable fit. MORE FULL UPDATE: Sound quality and noise cancellation are definitely the highlights. Their sound quality is, in my opinion, much better than what I expected for the price. This is definitely a highlight. Again, I'd like to reiterate that while they stay in your ears absolutely fine with the wide range of ear tips provided, they can get a bit uncomfortable after prolonged use. I'm someone who prefers foam tips, so keep that in mind. They will definitely be more aggressive but also deliver a more dynamic sound, so be aware of the trade-offs. I've mostly used them hiking, often in fairly windy hilly areas, and they're perfect for casual use. Oh, the controller feedback is way too strong in your ear. A little discomfort, and maybe I can find out if there's a way to reduce it. If there is a way I will try to remember to add a change.
