Get a good fruit bag!
Bought these mesh bags to stack Asian pears as they ripen on the tree. I use mesh bags to prevent insects, birds and squirrels from eating and burrowing into the fruit. These pouches are easy to place on young pear fruit and simply pull on the laces. The only problem I have is with squirrels chewing through some of the bags and knocking the fruit and bag off the tree. For the price and the ease of use to put around each pear fruit, this purchase was worth it.
