The pickers themselves are of decent quality. I'm not a pro, I use do-it-yourself pens and they work well for me. I use the waxing one to collect gems, this set of 4 will probably last me for several years! The set is worth a good price. The shiny gemstones in the body of the pens are gorgeous and I love the variety of clear, black and pink colors. Transparent storage boxes - garbage. One of the boxes was broken upon arrival. Drawers don't close by themselves. There is no latch or clasp like you would expect from a regular box. Instead, the boxes rest on a small plastic square that fits into grooves on either side of the box. The handle goes through the middle of this piece. Lose a square and the box is useless. Luckily the wax end of the pens is protected by a clear plastic tube so I can get rid of the bins.
