This evening cape complemented my floor-length black and gold Gatsby/Roaring 20s dress perfectly. However, the embroidery made the shawl heavy and this detail would have been better suited to a simple or minimally embellished dress (I had a dress with details and the beading on the shawl was too overwhelming). I think the cape should be light since it's an accent, so I returned mine. I was disappointed because it was perfect. I hope this review helps: the beading and detailing is beautiful but you will have to put up with the heaviness of this cloak on your shoulders, on a chair etc.
