Durability seems excellent, too bad it didn't hold up. The cat paw mat wasn't plush and the mat that came with it seems quite slippery. Zero is a 14 pound cat who already travels well, so I was looking forward to taking my friend on hikes and picnics with my partner. Since he moved in with me, he was only allowed to be outside under supervision and since we moved to an apartment in the forest/forest, he is only inside. So the backpack seemed like a great way to break up my busy schedule and give me more free time. Zero is EKA's cuddliest human "human", so while he can't roam everywhere, I think this pack will at least give him more sunshine and hugs. Too bad about the rug, I wanted to take it for a walk but I don't want it to slip. I will trim the quilt and correct my mediocre rating if the seller corrects the wrong ad/error. All seams and sippers appear to be solid. The design came with no scratches and looked nicer than the photo. There's a cool divided compartment that zips closed and separates the "tent" mesh from the seating area in backpack mode. The face was easy to replace. I tugged on the inner attachment point of the leash and inspected the stitching. He seems super strong. He has plenty of space and I like a dark aviary to help him stay calm and give him privacy when he doesn't want to look out. It smells factory so I wash it with catnip and a teaspoon of detergent. I also bought a rechargeable fan and a set of two collapsible silicone bowls. I feed Zero from a bowl for two weeks before slurping him in. He still doesn't like the smell of this thing, but he's played with his string in it and eaten twice, so... so far so good. I will update if the seller sends a plush mat and if the zero still feels like it travels well just in the box and not on the arms/shoulders. I'm still curious and hope the pattern doesn't get scratched by a little bush fight, but this research will take a little while. Mesh?.. hmm.. I can use this space to store food and water, maybe books, but it would be nice if there was an additional dedicated compartment for his real leash and stuff...my physics books, iPad, snacks and Things. I am planning to live outside with my pet for a while and I would appreciate a dedicated space for my essentials and luxuries. It's short enough to create another compartment in the bottom while keeping plenty of clearance inside the main compartment. I will update if there are more good or bad grades. Now I'm curious if the seller will correct this mistake - and how well the Zero will acclimate. I'm excited!
