I bought these to spice up cheerleader bows. Since the loops are nylon/plastic ribbon, I only left the iron on briefly to avoid melting the loops. Even this short time seemed to have smoothed out the lint considerably. When I straightened some of the letters, they lost some of their fluff. One of the L's twisted when I took it off the sheet and it became almost unusable. In the second month of using the loops, an L fell off the girl. This is not the look I expected. They may work for one-time use or joke projects, but they are not suitable for long-term use.
