I needed a 'meatball box' for the fridge and that's exactly what I was looking for. It's more expensive than I expected, but it's really perfect for my needs, so I'm happy to pay, but only once so far. the height of a standard 12-ounce can. After a lot of searching I finally found this but wasn't sure if it was the right size as the sizes listed were a bit ambiguous. The numbers are given, but what the length, width or height was was not clear from the product description. The two-liter capacity is about 2mm larger than a 12-ounce can, allowing it to fit into the tight space I had to fit. I call this our "meatball drawer" because this is where I keep the meatballs for easy access. No need to tie bags or hunt for a clip - I just leave an open bag of meatballs (or fish fingers, etc.) in the container and they stay fresh for as long as I need them. and would like more, but I really only need one. Will definitely buy again if I ever need to replace our current basket.
