Great price for a really good band.

--Update -- Added pictures of my modifications to avoid using a ground-threaded tripod mount. An additional cable is also attached to the opposite post of the belt hook. The photo was taken with a Nikon D750 camera with the 28-300mm lens attached. It's not exactly a quick release buckle with a leash, but I feel like it's attached to the belt very securely now. - Original Review - This is a VERY comfortable belt. I really like having the weight of my camera on my shoulder instead of on my neck. It's also nice to have the camera next to me instead of belly hopping while walking. I used this strap for two photo shoots throughout the day and am very happy with it after adjusting it a bit to my liking. I don't really use the strap as it was designed. I have a Nikon d750 with a couple of heavy lenses so I don't trust hanging the camera upside down on a tripod screw that isn't rated for that kind of load. So I don't use the mounting hardware that comes with the strap instead. I've assembled a pair of carabiners that attach to one of the dedicated camera strap stands. I also use this separate cable as a backup. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HVT2D4Y Can't be too careful! I don't use a strap that goes under my arm as I didn't feel it really gave me stability. The good thing is that you can completely remove this strap when you don't want to use it. While I'm not using it for its intended purpose, the fact that you can customize this bracelet makes it a great buy, especially for the price. If you're interested in this type of strap but don't trust a tripod's screw attachment over time, this strap is for you as it's highly customizable.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
