I really don't understand some of these reviews. If you are reading this and are thinking about buying them just based on the reviews, don't be fooled by what people are saying negatively. Obviously all people are different. A lot of people seem to complain about the texture and amount of carbs in these bars. It is clear that SOFT is written in the description on the packaging. Amount of carbohydrates: 20 g. If you think about it, this bar is intended as a meal replacement (which really works and keeps you full). 20g of carbs per meal with all the benefits of protein and energy is not bad at all! Especially if you exercise regularly. I eat chocolate peanut butter and it's a great quick snack to help me feel full. When I run out the door I grab one of these for "lunch" with plenty of water. After that I'm pretty full. Someone here threw it so it looks like a candy bar. Completely out of my head. It should not be eaten after 20 minutes with a large meal. If you are serious about your diet and want to eat something on the go or even at home while you are busy around the house: this is for you! Don't be fooled by negative reviews. To be honest I didn't even read the reviews when purchasing as I'm a huge fan of cocktails and knew they would be good. It was only when I realized how much I really like these bars and how I might order another box in the future that I stumbled across the reviews to understand why they only have 3.5 stars. How long have protein bars been around? Anyone can tell you an almond vanilla protein bar is gross without even buying it online. Therefore, ignore the negative reviews. You have to try it yourself. My 5 year old picky eater sometimes asks for this as he walks out the door as a snack. The price is not bad, the kids love it. Try it.
