The magnet is not strong enough

I bought this car charger hoping it would work for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. However, the magnet wasn't strong enough to hold my iPhone (in its case). Tried before installing the charger in the car. The iPhone slipped out of the charger pretty quickly. The charger has a much smaller magnet than the MagSafe charger. The charger is oblong, not round. The MagSafe charger is 3.24 inches in diameter (basically the full width of an iPhone 12 Pro Max). The magnetic disk on the charger is 1 3/4 inches in diameter, or about 1/2 the size of MagSafe. I need a charger that can hold my iPhone without slipping. This product is not suitable for this purpose.
