I am very happy with this purchase. I wanted to add lighting under the cabinet without having to deal with power and wiring. I figured since almost all homes have outlets above the stove so you have a microwave I could probably use the outlet for the light. I can't stress this enough, I'm not the kind of person who would ever want to handle cables and do electrical work. I knew I had to have a dimmer but wasn't sure how to access the switch as it had to be above the stove in the upper cabinets. I stumbled across this setup and all my problems were solved. so I hoped. My biggest concern had nothing to do with this set or even the seller as I had previously bought 2 sets from 2 completely different sellers and each had the same issue, the remote strength wasn't strong enough and the receiver had to hang a few. for outdoor use. I was concerned that I would make a hole in my cabinets below and a small hole to let the light fall into my cabinets from above where the outlet was. I was concerned that the receiver would not be powerful enough and I would either hang the receiver out of the cabinet so the remote could lift it, or somehow lower the pitcher under the cabinets. The good news was that the remote was powerful enough to reach the receiver and it worked better than I had hoped. Set up was very basic, I mean super. I simply drilled two small holes in the cabinets with a drill bit, one on the bottom of the cabinets so I could turn on the light and the second was drilled in the cabinet on the side of the top so I could plug the light into the microwave socket above the stove. Not a single hole can be seen. The lights stuck slightly to the lower cabinets and I actually ran them all the way through our microwave/range hood to add extra lighting. I then used 3M velcro to hang it and placed one on the remote and the other on the wall where I wanted. I placed the remote control next to an outlet that we can plug our phone into, which will then play through the installed speakers in our kitchen (much like what a builder does). It literally looks super professional and works fantastic, it's the perfect setup. The automatic setting is 100%, which is great for cooking and gives you enough light so you don't have to use overhead lighting. In fact I prefer to set it to 25% and dim it by 2 and then leave it on all night as a kitchen night light. This lamp shows additional functionality and atmosphere. There weren't many reviews when I first bought them, but I'm glad I took a chance and they worked. Love the look of the remote on the wall, it makes the job easier but also makes it look like a professional install, although my clumsy personality actually just used tape and hooked it up. 5 stars ⭐️
