I really wanted to fall in love with this product. One thing I would like to say is that this product is very good HOWEVER I had two issues with this product that made me write this review. It looked beautiful on display, but after washing this product for the first time I noticed a nick in the wood, to the point I would have given it a chip if I hadn't noticed. I didn't like this because I was wondering how many washes this could last before it started chipping and/or causing splinters. Second, I washed it after my party and found that the exposed strawberry now officially stains the product (after the first use!). I can feel it, and wood splinters wouldn't be a problem if made with some kind of sealer or preservative. I really wanted to love it but now I have to pay attention to the bright red spots and hopefully hide them every time I use my board. Slight disappointment. Two days after purchase, it no longer looks new.
