Review on Shepherd Hardware 8735 Universal Spring-Loaded by Ron Houston

This is one of my best buys. This device saved me a lot of time and effort. I have a 14 foot gate covering the carport and one side (7 feet) is sagging more than the other. The springs on the wheels helped raise the gate to where it needed to be. The tools I used were a jack to raise it up on the loose side, a brick to hold it there so I could remove the jack, a wheel spring clamp, a pilot hole drill, and instead of using the screws that came with it (which would have should be enough) I used external anchor bolts (my preference) and a level. Once I installed them, they held the gate in place where I could re-cement the side that was severely sagging. They're worth it, they're strong, durable and easy to install.
