Too bad I didn't read the reviews beforehand. I usually do, but I was in a hurry to buy them and it was so convenient, they were delivered the next day. So I bought a size 5-8 for my 6 year old (who is very small for her age) but they were too small for her. I had to give the rest to my friend who has a 3 year old and she said they fit her perfectly. So order the next size up or find others with good reviews. The rest of the material is excellent.
