I pulled very hard, risking tearing, and pulled it on. TA Dah! And then it really held and my hair stayed to my surprise. The photo shows a trial version with a silicone ring inside. This is the most interesting for me as I have used the others many times. Others are more relaxed, go in and out easily, hold my hair well but not enough strength to hold my hair. Back to the silicones - they look tiny and tight but they double wrapped around my thick ponytail. I had to pull pretty hard but it didn't break. The silicone makes it very grippy so it really holds the hair and because it's so tight my ponytail stayed right where I put it. The first time I did this I pulled out 1 hair. I didn't pull my hair out on subsequent tests. The clean finish and contrasting silicone are so cute, I'm so glad I can wear these scunci hair bands even though they look so small.
