My mom has Charge 3 so I figured when I bought the speaker I would get a newer version with standard Bluetooth capabilities, as I thought speakerphone. Technically it was my fault because I assumed there would be hands-free capabilities in the next generation, I didn't research that in advance. But why would they do it without this very simple and standard feature? Also charges 3 and 4 do not combine with each other. There's a battery pack feature (meaning you can use it to charge other devices as a power source) which doesn't impress me, I'd rather have hands-free calling and the ability to connect to other models. For big bucks and as a next-gen model, it's technically a downgrade. The sound quality is excellent, the battery is fine. But it's too late for me to return the money.
