I'm of mixed nationality and I feel very comfortable using this product on my hair. I have VERY strong curly hair and even have curls on my head in places. Since my hair is so strong, I use this Extra Strength Relaxer to transition from "Lion King" to "Japanese Anime Hair". It straightens my hair and after a month of growth I only have to touch it up with normal strength. I have a lot of thick and strong hair and was able to mix 2 sets separately to use in 1 treatment. The only thing I can't stress enough is that you must follow the directions exactly and you MUST USE PROTECTIVE OIL or you will chemically burn your scalp, ears, forehead and neck area. The effects of a chemical burn wear off over time and your skin can return to normal in 2 weeks but DO NOT underestimate this product or you will likely burn your hair. you have been warned I still recommend using this product regularly if you have a lot of thick, strong, frizzy hair and want to make it look thinner and smoother.
