So I bought this to use with my MacBook Pro and 3.5mm condenser mic. There was so much hype it wasn't worth it, it sounded better right on the line. A bit later I bought a Mac Pro, it doesn't have a 3.5mm line-in so I'll pull it out and hope it works. . It could not be plugged directly into the back of the computer, only worked when plugged into a 4-port hub plugged into an Apple display which was then plugged into a Mac Pro, and even then only with it microphones. Gain at full volume. The noise is so loud that the sound becomes useless at that moment. Highly recommended to avoid at all costs! Not even worth the $12.99 I paid, absolute rubbish.
