I'm so glad I ventured a size 1 Petzl. I tried Mountain Mama while pregnant (because my gym had one) and it looked like my rib literally crushed the cell when it was lowered. He beat me in an uncomfortable spot even when he was at his best. Petzl harnesses sit much higher on my chest and are much more secure. Plus, it's a lot easier to go down with Petzl. I didn't notice any difference in the quality of the two or any other properties of the inner top rope. I don't have any insurance issues either. It's a little tricky to attach the carabiner, but once you've managed it, it's ok. It was the same with the mountain mother. If you are small a Petzl size 1 might fit you I am 5'2117 pre-pregnancy and still climbing at 5 months. I gave it four stars because harnesses and pregnancy gear seem to be secondary to sports companies. It's definitely lower quality and has no padding than my regular Petzl harness.
