I've been using this type of cleaner since DiscWasher in the 1970's. Although this record brush looks like a DiscWasher (DW), the concept is wrong. The DW brush had directional fibers oriented side to side across the brush. It was designed to be used in one direction on the record, hence the arrow at the end of the DW brush. This brush has directional fibers, but they are oriented end-to-end rather than across the brush. tutorial video on the Big Fudge website, I can see why they might not have grasped the concept of proper directional fiber orientation. They really don't seem to know how to use a DW cleaning brush. Well I'm still looking for a good replacement for the old DiscWasher. The search continues. But the pen brush is good. Hence two stars instead of one.
