I have a fully loaded Surface Book 3 model (i7, 32GB RAM, etc.) that ships with a 102W power supply to keep it fully powered/charged up but I picked this up as a backup PS if traveling or using the tablet top around the house. This 65W model can keep the battery topped up for the most part unless really running hardware intensive tasks. For example, I applied a bunch of monthly OS patches tonight while running off the 65W PS and I did notice after 30 minutes or so my battery ran down to 85%, but PS had started to recharge the batteries once that intensive task was complete. So just be aware of the power output of your Microsoft bundled PS and make sure this one matches your needs.
