Cons: We had high hopes for this Neeyer but it was a disappointment and we are going back. If you need to seal more than 3 bags at a time, be aware that you may overheat the machine and need to wait for it to cool down. More than stated time. Then, even if it's supposedly usable, it still isn't, and you have to wait longer. Also the sealing/suction power seemed to be insufficient. As soon as it feels like it can't hold the suction, it automatically seals - done or not! The vacuum also deactivates when it begins to seal, allowing air to re-enter the pouch containing the individual pouches (and overlapping the seam that the machine itself makes). doesn't work properly with this model's vacuum sealer), but not enough to save the extra 1/8 inch in a bag worth keeping. My advice is if you need a single session grocery bag system or if you need it for strong suction and vacuum sealing, spend $30 more and go for a better model. The reason you buy this neeyer could well be for its ease of use and tailored pockets for a professional look. The $60 I bought to replace it doesn't come set up that way, but the vacuum works fine. If you buy this Neeyer, plan on giving it plenty of time to rest between seals and maybe put a fan on for it. knowing how long any of them actually last. I bought this Neeyer to replace my first used FoodSaver. What still works just needs a new group, but so old it's not even in the catalog anymore. I like the lock feature in the new models.
