They look and feel great, love the slits on the sides of the thighs too, they fit perfectly I thought and wanted them too (they shrunk a little after washing and drying the first time, but not much). The only reason I gave them four stars was because the zippers didn't work initially when I first received them and tried to put them on they work properly when I filled the pockets with other stuff but not like that, as if they were stuffed full of things. However, they seem to work well and if you are careful enough with bags, they work well! The shorts are just above the knees, just how I wanted them!
