Fixes high refresh rate gaming monitor issues

I was using a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter and the standard cable that came with my Dell Gaming S2716DG 27.0" Monitor with LED -Backlight and G-SYNC was delivered. It worked well except for the occasional flickering of the display at random and rare times. This wasn't a problem with the monitor itself as the HDMI input worked fine. At first I assumed it was something with my GPU as there have been many reports of NVIDIA cards randomly flickering when connected to high refresh rate displays, but the company claims that its latest driver updates fix this issue have fixed. After all, DisplayPort is a digital connection. just like HDMI, so either it works or it doesn't - the other/more expensive cable is no different than the cheap/supplied cable except in very specific circumstances. At least that's what we've been taught as a general rule of thumb. After digging deeper into the issue of screen flickering, I learned that cable quality really matters with DisplayPort. You should not trust the cables that come with the monitor or just any old one you can buy online. This particular model came highly recommended to me, so I decided to give it a try. Miraculously, not a single flash or flicker after connecting. Sure, $15 for a 3-foot cable isn't "cheap," but given the price some other cables sell for, it's a steal. Bottom Line: If you're having trouble with a DisplayPort-enabled monitor, it could be the cable. Buy this and you will most likely be in good shape.
