To be honest it really looks like the pictures here. The box it came in was quite large. My husband ingeniously (sarcasm) started trying to assemble it right out of the box without reading the instructions. Do not do that. Do not unpack without reading the instructions. This threatened our marriage as we completely twisted the grid. To be honest, you can't even read the instructions because they look like Ikea instructions - only in pictures. We didn't get this from mosquitoes, but because we read it can repel cats too. I don't even think my cats are that smart and they figured it out in under 12 hours. Not only do they jump straight onto the web, but they can poke their face in the gap and get completely underneath. It holds up relatively well in its claws, and to the credit of the web, it didn't collapse under the cat's weight, but I'm still very disappointed. I also don't care that the net rotates itself - the top is loose and when lifting the net you have to awkwardly hang it on yourself and it's a bit clumsy. I was hoping there would be a seam through which I could reach the child, but picking everything up and clinging to a moving, rotating thing is just weird. Hopefully my cats can be taught to stay away from snu so we can stop messing with this thing.
