Ok I would say this boot is quite comfortable for normal use. However, as a waiter I walk a lot (about 4 miles per shift) and they are not that good for that purpose. I have Morton's neuroma and at the end of my shift I have a hard time walking despite the insole. When I wear them outside of work, my insoles are enough to ease the pain. Also, they may not slip under normal conditions, but in a busy kitchen they do. I wouldn't say they slip like sneakers, but I've definitely had more "non-slip" shoes. The high peak offers good grip, which is a very nice feature.
