If you don't need a single-use product, stay away! I was amazed at the quality of this product when it was delivered. As part of my 3D printing business I use a lot of desiccant packs from different sources. Today I decided it's time to rejuvenate a few desiccant packs so they can maintain their optimal performance. These SorbCo packs had a listed temperature and "reactivation" time of 245F for 16 hours, so I used that as a guide to reactivate the eight other packs (various sizes, larger and smaller than the SorbCo product). , which I wanted to reactivate. I'm an instrumentation engineer, so I carefully controlled the temperature of my lab oven before putting in a few bags of desiccant to dry. I monitored the temperature throughout the day, starting at 220 F and gradually reaching 234 F as the materials dried. After 9 hours under 235 F, the SorbCo bag failed and tiny balls were thrown into the tray of my oven. All other packages were intact. All were carefully removed, and intact pouches were carefully saved for use or further drying. The SorbCo mess was thrown away and I will never buy this product again.
