My favorite embroidery thread storage

I have been using this product since I was a teenager. It is very convenient for me when these bags are put on the ring. I can create a "set" of floss for any project and never have to worry about losing or damaging it. I write a color symbol on each bag, there is a white rectangle for that. Because I use and reuse them, I write in the top corner. When I'm done, I can cover that icon with a dark marker and keep the packs until next use. When I make kits from the same manufacturer, almost all of the icons are the same, so I don't paint them at all, just match the project's new floss icons to the new colors and you're good to go! My biggest project has been over 80 colors, I have used many of these bags, over 80 as the combined colors were put together. I use them for cross stitch, embroidery and embroidery. Sometimes other crafts to hold small items together. Remember there is a hole punched in each pocket so this is not suitable for small beads and the like. My overlap stitch frames have a large knurled screw on the side. I can hang my ring from Floss-A-Way bags there, convenient but not in the way. For me the pouches are durable, I take care of them and keep them in a box after and between uses. I didn't have a break. I keep the packages I use ringside. No complaints, highly recommended. Some staplers prefer other project storage systems, this is an individual choice.
