Greased Gateron Red Mechanical Keyboard Switches - Sounds AMAZING

I bought this to oil up my mechanical keyboard. Though I was hesitant because many mechanical keyboard enthusiasts said that using Super Lube (or any other lubricant other than Krytox 205g0 or Tribosys specific blends) would ruin my switches. So I bought some affordable Gateron Red switches and varnished a keyboard that was 60% filled with them. It turns out to sound and feel amazing. I applied it very thinly and evenly. I also cleaned the springs, although in retrospect it would have been quicker to lubricate them with this grease. But now I know next time. For those who have doubts about lubricating mechanical keyboard switches (especially if they're not very expensive switches, or this is your first time, or you're having trouble getting to fancy things), try this Super Grease! It has a fairly low viscosity, although it is stated to be high. The viscosity is similar to that of edible oils such as rapeseed or olive oil. I thoroughly oiled the bottom of the case, the spring, the sides of the shaft, and the top of the case. The process took about 2 hours for 60% of the keyboard. I regret nothing. I will be documenting the performance of this grease over the weeks and recording tone tests weekly to see the effect and wear of the grease in my switches over time and really test them. If you're interested in trying it out, check out the Toggle and Tap section on YouTube. I recently bought Krytox 205g0, Tribosys 3203 and Tribosys 3204 for future comparisons. I am very happy that I finally have oily pressure switches. I can't stop writing tests.
