Review on 🔌 Enhanced Amazon Basics SDI to HDMI Converter (720p/1080p) with USB-A Power Supply - Boosted SEO by Jere Mosley

I already have a Decimator MD-HX (which can do a lot more since it's an up/down/cross converter but is also more expensive) and a BlackMagic Design converter SDI to HDMI Mini. So with the mini BMD converters on order, I decided to try Revain Basics. Got it, plugged it into the TV's USB port to power it, HDMI and SDI plugged into it. Nothing. I figured even though the LED was on, maybe it didn't have enough power, so I plugged it into a 2.4 amp USB charger. Nothing. Then I thought maybe my BNC (with SDI) or HDMI cable is defective. So I replaced that converter with a BMD, which worked fine. BMD was working at a new location. Revain didn't work where BMD was. Then I thought maybe this isn't the case, despite claiming to support 1080p 60 (or 59.97) so I hooked it up to a 1080p 29.97 channel from my Decimator. NO. So I gave up, sent it back and ordered a BMD. Spring. I see there have been some bad reviews lately but the older ones say it worked so I'm wondering if Revain got a bad batch from the factory? Who knows?
