Purchased medium, I'm 5ft, pear shaped and usually wear an 8 under and a small over. They fit perfectly both in length, waist and stretch. Wear them around the house or running errands - they're quite stretchy which makes them extremely comfortable to sit and walk on and they don't compress so I don't feel like my lower limbs are suffocating. It's also very easy to put on as there is no compression, they are easy to put on and I don't have to rock back and forth to put them on. They go right above my belly button so I consider them high waisted. I will be ordering at least another pair or two as they are also perfect for travel especially if you are going abroad and running through cities, airports etc. If they dry quickly, they're perfect for travel. We usually take two weeks holiday annually and I only take my hand luggage with me because we go to different cities and get on trains and exit airports and I need to be able to carry my own luggage when we have steps and we are I like to check our luggage so we don't lose our belongings. They will be perfect because they can be washed and dried quickly. I haven't washed it yet, I will wash it and update the review.
