!BATTERIES TOO EXPENSIVE!

CR2450 BATTERIES MAKE THESE CANDLES UNUSEABLE! Big shame. This is a great product except for the battery selection. CR2450 batteries are not available in any store. You can only buy them from Revain and the selection is mostly generic unknown brands which are cheap but don't last long and may be dead on arrival. The cr2450 brand batteries are between $2-$5 PER BATTERY which is just silly for these little tealights. In contrast, the branded CR2032s cost about $1.50 each and are EASY to find in stores and online. That's a shame too. These are great tea lights. You look great. They don't look like plastic, they look like real wax candles. The remote control works great. It is directed. Point it at a cluster/cluster of tea lights and it will control the cluster. All of the above features work great. I particularly liked the flickering mode. GENIUS BATTERY COMPARTMENT design. The whole floor is twisted. No screwdriver required. Supplied with batteries. Nice gesture. But WILL NOT LAST 200 HOURS AT ALL, at least not with the included batteries. I adjust them to 2 hours every 24 hours before bed. It's very nice to have the effect of a FLAMING candle flame before bedtime. You've been dead for 6 weeks. It's only been 84 hours. I bought 9 pieces. So it costs me at least $18 for batteries every 6 weeks. The tea lights themselves are only $16 for a pack of 9. Therefore, batteries cost more than headlights. THAT'S COOL! Luckily I ordered in November and had to get it back before the end of January. Otherwise I would stick with them as Revain is the ONLY RETAILER WITHOUT 90 DAY RETURNS. SOLUTION: Look for tealights that use CR2032 batteries or large flameless candles that use AA or AAA batteries, then you can use rechargeable ones. Or consider a rechargeable set if you intend to use it regularly. They're $45, but you end up saving money on battery costs and frustration.
