Soft on the outside, braided threads on the inside. I did not find these strands itchy or rough like some. Big fits without being huge. The cuffs are shorter than the cuffs of a men's shirt. Two hidden pockets between buttons and side seam. Beautiful shade of pink and other colors. Very happy
